the story.
From six dashboards nobody read to one sentence everybody acts on.
01 · The challenge
Alpine's team of 40 was drowning in data. Six analytics tools, hundreds of charts, and a weekly meeting that started with "so what are we even looking at?" The numbers existed. The answers didn't. Decisions were made on instinct while the dashboards collected dust.
02 · The approach
We flipped the hierarchy: insight first, charts as evidence. Atlas opens with one plain-language headline — what changed, when, and what probably caused it — generated from the team's real metrics and recent product events, then grounded with the two charts that prove it. We tuned model usage so each weekly insight costs cents, not dollars.
03 · The outcome
The weekly metrics meeting is now five minutes. The team reads one sentence, checks the evidence, and argues about what to do — instead of what the data says. When checkout fell 11% after a feature launch, Atlas flagged the cause the same day. The rollback shipped before lunch.
